安德烈·亚辛斯基 (波兰)
Andrzej
Jasinski was born in 1936 and studied in Prof. W. Markiewicz's class
at the Higher School of Music of Katowice. He obtained his diploma
brilliantly in 1959 and in Paris (1960-61) with Magda Tagliaferro.
In 1960, he won first prize at the Maria Canals Competition in Barcelona
and in 1961 made his debut on the international scene in Turin,
with the RAI orchestra conducted by Carlo Zecchi, subsequently going
on to Poland and various other countries. His pedagogic activity
also began in 1961 in Katowice. He has held a chair for pianoforte
since 1973. In 1976, he received the title of professor and taught
at the Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart from 1979 to 1982.
He received a special award four times from the Minister of culture
of Poland for the excellent results of his pedagogic activities.
His pupils have received numerous awards at piano competitions.
Andrzej Jasinski was the sole teacher of Krystian Zimerman, Chopin
award winner in 1975.
Since 1975, he has been a member of the juries at competitions in
Warsaw, Paris, Brussels, Moscow, Tokyo and Bolzano, etc. He also
holds piano performance courses in Warsaw, Salzburg, Japan and South
America.
